While there are numerous conversation models available, we recognized a gap: the absence of a single, straightforward approach tailored specifically for time-starved leaders.

Enter our modified version of the renowned GROW model, originally developed by Sir John Whitmore in 1992. While traditionally used in pure coaching settings, we've adapted this model to suit leadership conversations, introducing some fundamental changes:

Firstly, we acknowledge that as a leader, you often initiate these conversations. Thus, our approach reverses the traditional GROW model, putting you in the proactive role.

Secondly, we understand that you, as the leader, play a pivotal role in shaping the conversation agenda. Unlike traditional coaching methods, our approach empowers you to drive the discussion forward.

Lastly, we’ve shifted the names of some of the steps from the original model to help leaders navigate the leadership conversation focus. Same coach approach to conversations!
